SAVE ON FUEL COSTS
PELLET 40% CHEAPER THAN OIL, 110% CHEAPER THAN LPG
Woodpecker offer a range of indoor and outside boilers to suit all domestic heat and hot water requirements.
Woodpecker boilers from 15 – 45 kW are normally used for single properties in most cases via a buffer tank replacing existing oil or LPG boilers. This enables instant access to heat via the store in the buffer tank which is topped up in efficient periodical boiler ‘burns’ when the tank temperature drops below a certain level. Woodpecker has added their own buffer tanks, vacuum feed Fillomatic units and bulk storage silos as joined up thinking solutions for installers.
Technical advice and parts for all Woodpecker boilers are dealt with in the UK, enabling quick and efficient response.
The Renewable Heat Incentive for domestic applications is due to start late in 2012 with the Government using the experience of the non-domestic scheme as a reference point for how it is structured. It is likely to be over a 20 year span and we would presume might operate in a similar way to the non-domestic scheme. Thresholds and rates may be different, honing down potentially on off grid medium sized properties as ideal beneficiaries of the scheme. However, with much larger installations the reduction in heating costs could still be extremely attractive. The choice then is what type of installation shall I choose? Woodpecker, with a range of wood pellet biomass boilers from 15 – 500kW output, with a manufacturing plant in the UK, are an obvious choice as there are over 2500 installations around the world.
